Emily J. Cole-Jones has spent 20 years working in nonprofit development and has worked in a number of capacities for Fox Advancement since 2001, as both a contractor and team member. She has helped nonprofits raise millions of dollars to fulfill their missions and achieve long-term financial success. Emily loves collaborating with clients on developing institutional fundraising strategies that deliver high-impact results. Past experience includes grant writing, campaign management, individual giving, special events planning, and research to support important work in a variety of sectors, including healthcare, housing, higher education, Tribal advocacy, the arts, and more.

A visual and performing artist (www.emilyjcole.com), Emily has a passion for the arts and has worked on the development teams of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra (St. Paul, MN), Virginia Repertory Theatre (Richmond, VA), and Stages Theatre Company (Hopkins, MN).


She serves on the board of directors for the Minnesota Sinfonia and is a volunteer grant review panelist for the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council. Emily received a BA from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD and attended the Art Institutes International—Minnesota for graphic design.
