Fox Advancement is honored to be working with Sokaogon Chippewa Community Mole Lake Band of Lake Superior Chippewa located in Nashville, Wisconsin.

Chippewa Community (SCC) comprises the Mole Lake Indian Reservation with approximately 500 Tribal Members living on the reservation and 1,000 Members living off the reservation. SCC retained Fox Advancement to accelerate funding two months into the COVID-19 pandemic, and together we’ve partnered on federal grants from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the Economic Development Administration (EDA), the State of Wisconsin CARES Act, and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

Together we’ve created a logic model for the Tribe’s strategic plan, aligning funding opportunities and resources to ensure key Tribal initiatives are prioritized both during and after the pandemic. Further, this logic model outlines activities to support key programs and services, ensuring the Tribe sustains critical operations and builds new enterprises that create revenue and jobs.

Recently, Wisconsin recognized its Tribal Communities, and notably, SCC for weathering the COVID-19 crisis better than Tribes in other states, stating that Wisconsin tribes “have taken aggressive steps to combat the coronavirus pandemic since January and recent data show that they have fared better than other harder hit Tribes across the country.”

Together we’re navigating the funding paths and working toward creating even stronger diversified Tribal economic infrastructure that continues to meet the needs of the SCC community.
